EFFECTIVENESS EXERCISE ON THE RANGE OF MOTION OF UPPER EXTREMITY JOINTS MOVEMENT ON PATIENTS POST OPERATIVE HUMERUS FRACTURE

Abstract

ABSTRAK LatarBelakang: Fraktur adalah kondisi diskontinuitas susunan tulang trauma langsung maupun tidak langsung yang diakibatkan benturan langsung jika mengenai tulang juga dapat diakibatkan oleh adanya kompresi berulang dan fraktur. Problematik yang muncul pada post operasi fraktur ditunjukan dengan adanya nyeri diam, nyeri gerak dan nyeri tekan, timbulnya odema (pembengkakan), keterbatasan lingkup gerak sendi (LGS), serta deformitas adalah dugaan adanya fraktur setelah timbul. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh latihan ROM terhadap gerak sendi ekstremitas atas pada pasien post operasi fraktur humerus. Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimental, dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest Postest, menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil uji prasyarat berdistribusi tidak normal sehingga menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil: Perhitungan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan hasil bahwa ada perbedaan  yang bermakna derajat gerak sendi sebelum dan sesudah latihan ROM dengan   Ï value = 0,026 (< 0,05). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara derajat gerak sendi sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan latihan ROM. Kata Kunci :Range of Motion, Gerak Sendi, Fraktur PENGARUH LATIHAN ROM TERHADAP GERAK SENDI EKSTREMITAS ATAS PADA PASIEN POST OPERASI FRAKTUR HUMERUS ABSTRACT Background: Fracture are bone structure discontinuity condition direct or indirect trauma caused direct collision if the bone can also repeated compression and fracture. The problematic appear on the post operative fracture shown with the silent pain, pain, and tenderness motion pain, swelling arise limitation of range of motion and deformity is the alleged presence of a fracture after arise. Objective: Knowing the influence of exercise on the range of motion of upper extremity joints movement on patients post operative humerus fracture. Methods: Using research methods quasi-eksperimental, used accidental sampling technique, approaches using one group pretest posttest design, caused the test results are not normal distribution so analyse use Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: Wilcoxon test calculations, shows that there were significant differences degrees of motion before and after exercise ROM with Ï value = 0,026 (< 0,05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the degree of motion before and after range of motion exercise. Keyword : Range of Motion, Joint Movement, Fracture
