Lifestyle management plays a crucial role in controlling DM, and palliative care education can enhance self-care and well-being among elderly patients.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> This study aimed to examine the effect of palliative care teaching methods on the lifestyle patterns of elderly patients with diabetes mellitus at Lima Ilir Community Health Center in 2025.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> A quantitative quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted. Thirty-one elderly patients with DM were selected using purposive sampling. The intervention involved palliative care teaching using brochures as educational media. Lifestyle patterns were measured before and after the intervention using the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II (HPLP II) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test with SPSS.</p> <p><strong>Results</strong>: The results showed a significant improvement in lifestyle patterns after the intervention. Before the intervention, 54.8% of participants had poor lifestyle habits, while 22.6% and 22.6% were categorized as moderate and good, respectively. After the intervention, no participants remained in the poor category; 25.8% were moderate, 54.8% good, and 19.4% very good. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference in lifestyle scores before and after the intervention (p = 0.000, p &lt; 0.05).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> The palliative care teaching method effectively improves lifestyle patterns among elderly patients with diabetes mellitus. Family support plays a crucial role in the recovery process of post-stroke patients.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> This study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and the ability to perform activities of daily living among elderly post-stroke patients at Siti Fatimah General Hospital Palembang in 2025.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> This research employed a quantitative correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 85 elderly post-stroke patients in the physiotherapy unit, with a sample of 33 respondents selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection instruments included the Caregiver Reaction Assessment (CRA) to measure family support and the Barthel Index to assess ADL ability. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with SPSS version 26.</p> <p><strong>Results</strong>: The findings showed that most respondents had a high level of family support (25 respondents, 75.7%) and moderate support (8 respondents, 24.3%). Regarding ADL, the majority of respondents were in the moderate dependency category (15 respondents, 45.5%). The Chi-Square test revealed a p-value = 0.002 (p &lt; 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between family support and ADL ability among elderly post-stroke patients.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> There is a significant relationship between family support and the ability to perform activities of daily living in elderly post-stroke patients. Regrettably, insufficient training programs and limited informational resources often compromise their effectiveness in delivering primary healthcare services.</p> <p><strong>Objective: </strong>This quantitative investigation examines the efficacy of health education workshops in enhancing community health volunteers' comprehension of targeted medical subjects.</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong>The study employed a quasi-experimental design featuring pre- and post-intervention assessments within a single test group. Thirty certified community health workers participated in the trial, receiving specialized training through instructional seminars complemented by interactive learning sessions. Participant knowledge levels were quantitatively measured using validated questionnaires before and after the intervention, with subsequent data processing conducted through nonparametric statistical analysis.</p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>Participant demographics: Majority (80%) completed secondary education, with homemakers constituting 63% of the cohort. Baseline evaluation: Moderate understanding (70%), limited comprehension (30%), with no participants demonstrating complete mastery. Post-intervention results: Significant knowledge improvement with 80% achieving mastery and 20% showing intermediate understanding. Statistical analysis confirmed intervention effectiveness (p&lt;0.001).</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The educational initiative demonstrated measurable success in upgrading health volunteers' expertise. Adequate knowledge of First Aid is crucial in saving lives and preventing the worsening of patients’ conditions. However, many students still have suboptimal levels of First Aid knowledge.</p> <p><strong>Objective: </strong>This study aims to analyze the effect of simulation-based learning on First Aid knowledge in emergency situations among nursing students at STIKES Estu Utomo.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: This research used a one-group pretest-posttest design without a control group. A total of 43 nursing students were selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using paired t-test.</p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>Before the intervention, the average knowledge score was 62.74 ± 9.446. After simulation-based learning, the average score increased to 77.29 ± 7.717, with a mean difference of 14.559 ± 1.408. The paired t-test showed a significant difference with a p-value of 0.001 (p &lt; 0.05), and the 95% confidence interval ranged from 11.694 to 17.423.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Simulation-based learning is proven effective in increasing nursing students’ knowledge of First Aid in emergency situations. Kunci dari kesehatan serta kekuatan remaja ialah pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi merupakan isu mendesak yang harus dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan fisik dan psikologis remaja. Tujuan: Studi ini menganalisis mengenai dampak Pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi bagi sikap serta pengetahuan pada remaja siswa Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Sragen. Metode: Studi ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif serta sifatnya tak eksperimental. Dalam studi ini, 36 partisipan dipilih secara acak dari sekumpulan partisipan potensial dengan memanfaatkan metode pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Pertanyaan yang dirancang untuk mengukur pengetahuan serta sikap digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil: Menunjukkan responden sebelum diberi pendidikan kesehatan memperoleh pengetahuan “Baik” yaitu 18 responden (50%), “cukup” 17 responden (47,2%) serta “kurang” 1 responden (2,8%), responden yang bersikap “Baik” yaitu 26 responden (72,2%) serta cukup 10 (27,8%). Sedangkan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan memiliki pengetahuan mayoritas adalah “Baik” yaitu sebanyak 32 responden (88,9%) serta cukup 6 responden (11,1%), responden yang bersikap mayoritas ialah “Baik” yaitu 28 responden (77,8%) serta cukup 8 (22,2%). Berdasarkan hasil uji <em>Wilcoxon </em>dengan melaksanakan perbandingan nilai <em>pre-test </em>serta <em>post-test </em>pengetahuan serta sikap yang diperoleh responden nilainya sebesar 3,250 dengan signifikan 0,001. Hal ini artinya menolak H0 serta menerima Ha.
